- The program will provide a special focus on diversity including caring for a varied patient population, providing regional anesthesia in different locations, the experience of being a disabled physician, dealing with patient discrimination, and LGBTQIA+ community considerations, to name a few.
- A first-ever fluoroscopy workshop addressing thoracic and lumbar epidural placement - will be offered 3 times on Thursday to extend reach to attendees.
- A special Interactive Demonstration Workshop on Ultrasound-Guided Percutaneous Cryoneurolysis will include a station for Spanish-speaking attendees.
- Complementary Acupuncture and Hypnosis Medicine Workshop taught by expertly trained clinicians who perform these procedures in their practice.
- Several history-based sessions, in honor of the 100 Years of Regional Anesthesia celebration, will bring together experts to discuss how far we've come in the field and patient care and where technology may take us next.
