Our Mission

The Functional and Integrative Medicine SIG increases awareness and education of anesthesiologists and pain practitioners about the basic science and clinical applications of functional and integrative medicine in the perioperative surgical home and pain management and improves patient outcomes through application of these principles as an integral part of the multidisciplinary approach for the treatment of pain and chronic illness.
