Northwestern Simulation COVID-19 Guidelines
Vaccination/Testing Required: Northwestern students, faculty and staff are required to fill out the COVID-19 Vaccination Form to report their vaccination or request an exemption. All event attendees are required to be fully vaccinated or have received a negative COVID test within 48 hours of the event start. Participants unwilling or unable to abide by these requirements are not permitted to attend.
Self-Screening Required: All individuals are required to self-screen for any signs of illness including fever, cough, difficulty breathing, sore throat, headache, chills, body aches, loss of smell/taste, significant gastrointestinal symptoms, or other COVID-related symptoms before coming to Northwestern Simulation. If they have experienced any of these symptoms in the preceding 14 days they are prohibited from attending events in the Simulation Center.
Post-Event Health Reporting Responsibility: All participants, staff, and faculty from NU or its affiliates are REQUIRED to report if they test positive for COVID-19, if they develop symptoms consistent with COVID-19 in the 48 hours following the event, or are self-isolating due to suspected or known exposure to COVID-19 by completing the online Self Isolation Form.
Event organizers from external entities are REQUIRED to contact Northwestern Simulation if an event attendee (faculty, staff, or participant) tests positive for COVID-19, or develops symptoms consistent with COVID-19 in the 48 hours following the event.
