Physicians applying for a fellowship program in regional anesthesiology/acute pain medicine must be currently enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited anesthesiology residency program. To begin approximately in August 2023, Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship is a 12-month training program with Boomerang Healthcare that provides individuals with a full spectrum of expertise in pain medicine.
TRAINING: Training in all aspects of Pain Management. This includes patient evaluation and management, medication management, and interventional pain to develop expertise in multiple aspects of pain medicine. Procedures taught include spinal injections at all levels, Radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulator placement. Procedures are performed under fluoroscopy. In office injections include joint injections, PRP and musculoskeletal injections under ultrasound We are a large busy pain management practice primarily in the San Francisco bay area specializing in pain recovery.
REQUIREMENTS: By the start of the fellowship, the applicant must have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in one of the following specialties: Anesthesia, Physical Medicine, and Rehabilitation.
