ASRA Pain Medicine Mentor Match Program
The award-winning ASRA Pain Medicine Mentor Match program, created by the Physician Mentorship and Leadership Development Special Interest Group, reflects our commitment to you and your professional development. This program is a unique online networking and career development tool designed to help Society members find, connect, and share experiences with others.
Enrollment is open for the 2025 Mentor Match Program!
Program enrollment closes on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 11:59 pm ET.
Mentees and Mentors will be contacted with their pairing in March 2025.
Program Highlights
- Mentors and mentees will engage in one-on-one relationships based on the common interests specified by each individual. Mentor/Mentee matches will be made by aligning mentoring topics, specialty interests, and other information collected through enrollment.
- Some of the topics for the mentoring program include advocacy, career development, leadership, networking, work/life balance, and more.
- Mentor/Mentee matches will be made annually, and the mentoring program will last nine months.

Mentor Requirements:
- Complete the initial discovery call checklist (provided by ASRA Pain Medicine) with your mentee.
Commit to a focused conversation with your mentee on a schedule that works for both of you, ideally every other month.
Provide insights and knowledge to assist your mentee in professional development and growth.
Make at least a 9-month commitment to the Mentor Match program.
- Complete the Mentor Match post-program survey.
Enroll as a Mentor
Mentee Requirements
Be responsible for initiating the relationship with your mentor.
Complete the mentoring worksheet (provided by ASRA Pain Medicine) to identify goals and timelines.
Commit to a focused conversation with your mentor on a schedule that works for both of you, ideally every other month.
Drive the relationship with your mentor, and take charge in pursuing your goals and objectives.
Make at least a 9-month commitment to the Mentor Match program.
Complete the Mentor Match post-program survey.
