The Advanced Interventional Pain Management Course and Workshop for Fellows is sponsored by ASRA Pain Medicine and the Association of Pain Program Directors (APPD).
Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following:
Enrollment in an ACGME‑accredited pain medicine fellowship as of November 2026
Membership in ASRA Pain Medicine
Submission of a complete application with required materials
Scholarship Benefits
Included:
Reimbursement (post‑event) of up to $310 for one night at the Tampa Marriott Water Street (room + tax)
Registration for the ASRA Pain Medicine/APPD Advanced Interventional Pain Management Course and Workshop
Not Included:
Travel and transportation (flight, taxi, parking, etc.)
Registration for the 25th Annual Pain Medicine Meeting
Application Requirements
A complete application includes:
Curriculum vitae (CV)
Personal statement describing interest in the course
Letter of endorsement or attestation from the fellowship program director (1–2 sentences acceptable)
Scoring & Review Process
Applications will be reviewed by multiple national reviewers using a standardized rubric with each component scored on a 5-point scale:
Academic achievement and involvement in scholarly activity
Leadership experience within residency, professional society, advocacy, and institutional projects
Interest in the program as expressed in a personal statement

Application Deadline: August 10, 2026 (no exceptions)
Notification of Decisions: September 1, 2026
Scholarship Recipient Requirement: Must register for the 25th Annual Pain Medicine Meeting (at own expense) by September 18, 2026, or the scholarship will be revoked.
