Worldwide

The American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA Pain Medicine) joins its Sister Societies, ESRA, AFSRA, AOSRA-PM, and LASRA, for the  World Day of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, taking place on Saturday, January 31, 2026. The event is the culmination of World Week of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, January 24-31.

This international scientific initiative brings together the global anesthesia and pain medicine community under the shared mission of “Joining Hands for a Pain-Free Future Worldwide.”

Get Involved!

ASRA Pain Medicine members and their affiliated organizations have two options to get involved:

  1. Register as your own independent site by providing your organization’s name, date of event during the week, format (local in-person event, live online streaming, pre-recorded presentation, or hybrid), and general program details. ASRA Pain Medicine will share these details with the organizers so that your offering can be publicized as part of the official activities. Local events can occur any time during the week of January 24 – 31, 2026.
  2. Register for ASRA Pain Medicine’s live online streaming presentation on Saturday January 31, hosted by Drs. Rajnish Gupta and Rakesh Sondekoppam.  This event will be comprised of multiple 25-minute presentations (e.g. lecture, demonstration, video, etc.) over 6 hours, with short breaks between sessions. Slots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Email [email protected] by Monday, December 1, to register your own independent site or to participate in ASRA Pain Medicine’s live online presentation.
