Begin with pre-course eLearning before you arrive, which allows for maximum hands-on practice time with expert faculty once you are onsite.

This course is designed for physician regional anesthesia practitioners currently using or wishing to use ultrasound technology in the administration of regional nerve blocks. The course is designed to meet the varied educational needs from those just starting to use ultrasound-guidance in regional anesthesia to the more practiced clinician with a broader experience base.

Begin with our highly recommended pre-course eLearning before you arrive. Viewing the videos will increase the CME value of your course attendance by up to an additional 6 credits. It will also allow for maximum hands-on practice time with expert faculty once you are onsite. Course curriculum includes a comprehensive suite of 12 eLearning videos. These are an integral part of the program and must be completed prior to attending the weekend course.

  • Beyond the On Switch: Optimizing Ultrasound for Vascular Access and Regional Anesthesia (24 minutes)
  • Local Anesthetic Systemic Toxicity (34 minutes)
  • Ultrasound-Guided Nerve Blocks and Anatomy of the Lower Extremity (55 minutes) 
  • Abdominal Truncal Blocks Sono-Anatomy and Techniques (42 minutes)
  • Chest Wall Blocks: Sono-Anatomy and Techniques (35 minutes)
  • Upper Extremity Blocks (22 minutes)
  • Thoracic Wall Blocks (22 minutes)
  • Abdominal Wall Blocks (25 minutes)
  • Lower Extremity Blocks (32 minutes)
