New Research Advances Pain Management, Highlights Innovation and Patient Care
Research identifying innovative approaches to treatment and care of patients with chronic pain, neuropathic conditions, and cancer are being recognized for excellence at the 24th Annual Pain Medicine Meeting, November 13–15 in Austin, TX. The studies focus on new techniques as well as pain control and enhanced safety.
“These abstracts exemplify the impact that rigorous, patient-focused research can have on clinical practice and quality of care,” said ASRA Pain Medicine President Steven P. Cohen, MD. “We are proud to recognize these investigators and their contributions to advancing pain medicine.”
First authors of the award-winning abstracts will present from the podium during select sessions at the meeting and will also be recognized at the Excellence in ASRA Pain Medicine Awards Luncheon on Saturday, November 15, at 12:45 pm. The luncheon celebrates research across the field and includes the John J. Bonica Award Lecture presented by Dr. Marc Huntoon.
